Day 4 – December 22, 2012 – Saturday
We had a new roommate from Lithuania. She asked me if I could help her go to an information center in Ximen MRT Station. When I brought her there, the information desk was closed so I brought her to the one in Taipei Main Station. We were so supposed to separate after but she wanted to go wherever I would go. We went back to the hostel because it was so cool that day that 2 layers of clothes is not enough. After that, we went to Beitou and we took the shuttle from a certain hotel. You can take it even if you're not a hotel guest. Unfortunately, the shuttle bus only makes a stop at the hotel which is at the very end of Beitou. So went back down since the Hot Spring is in the middle of Beitou. We went to see the Geothermal valley and Hot Spring Museum. We even soaked our tired feet in the river which is not that hot but still relaxing. After that, we went to Danshui. I wasn't able to try the iron egg. We went back to Shilin Night Market.
Overall, it was a fun and relaxing day.
9:00 AM - Taipei Main Station (A 20-minute walk from Ximen Station)
9:20 AM - Off to the 228 Peace Park (Ximen MRT to NTU Hospital MRT)

11:50 AM - Left to go to Beitou
12: 30 PM - Arrived at Beitou and took a free shuttle
1: 10 PM - Geothermal Valley or Hell Valley

I made my Lihuanian roommate to eat the Ay Chung Flour Rice noodles which has pig's intestine. ㅋㅋㅋ

ReplyDeleteSorry parating late reply. Di na kasi ako nakakacheck everyday. Anyway, female dorm kasi siya. Bali 6 kaming andun. Kahit ako nagulat din na mura lang eh. Siningil ako ng 1,200 NTD then after binalik saking yun 200 NTD. Ok lang din yun dorm kasi nung first day ko 2 lang kami then 2nd day 4 tapos sunod-sunod na yun mga tao.
Di rin ako sure na maapprove ako siguro it helped na may previous travels ako (2-HK and 1 -Macau). Sobrang kabado ako nun sa bank cert kasi bago lang yun pera eh.
