TAIWAN TRIP
DECEMBER 19-23, 2012
It was my first trip to Taiwan and my second out of the country trip in 2012. I bought a roundtrip Clark-Taiwan ticket from AirAsia for only Php. 2,900 pesos. My total expenses including the ticket and visa fees is Php. 10, 850. It was a relaxing trip because Taiwan is a very laid back country plus it's longer compared to my usual out of the country trip so there's no pressure in seeing everything in a 3 days.
Day 1 – December 19, 2012 – Wednesday
First day in Taiwan, it was very cold. I forgot to change my sandals to my boots so when I got off the bus my toes froze. I also got lost a couple time. But Taiwanese people are very helpful even though they can't speak English they still tried to help me by pointing the directions. When I finally arrived at my dorm, I just rested for an hour and half before I went to around Ximending night market. I stayed at a 8-bed female dorm at EZ Stay Ximen for a total of 5 days and 4 nights. It only cost me NT1000 or Php. 1,500. I also made new friends from France, HK, Mexico, Lithuania and Korea.

Day 2 – December 20, 2012 – Thursday
It was my first time to be in a zoo. Taipei Zoo is huge and there's tons of animals. I saw Pandas form the first time but I didn't see the Bengal tiger that I really wanted to see. It was a fun day for me though I ended up having six (6) blister on both feet. I also went to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall which has a lot of Old Chinese tourist so I didn't go inside. From there, I walked to Taipei 101. I didn't go up the observatory since I have a fear of heights and it's too expensive.
